Half A Star

Eleanor Stankiewicz has been performing since the tender age of four. Throughout this time she has trained as a dancer, singer, and actor. For the MS Society she has appeared in many shows, two productions of Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat, Jesus Christ Superstar, as Veruca Salt in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Oliver!, The Wizard of Oz, and Gypsy.

With Burnside Players Eleanor has appeared as a vampire in Carpe Jugulum, Sybil Burlington in Daisy Pulls it Off, featured dancer and singer in Oh! What a Lovely War, Mercy Lewis in The Crucible, and most recently in 2008 as Cecile Volanges in Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liaisons).

For Fringe 2008 she appeared as Phoebe in This Rough Magic Theatre & Film’s As You Like It in the botanic gardens. Also in 2008 Eleanor appeared in the Therry Dramatic Society’s Gigi and the University of Adelaide Theatre Guild’s Antony and Cleopatra as Iras.

For the fact file, Eleanor is also an Australian champion in school aerobics.
